RETURN & REFUND POLICY – HISHMA

At HISHMA, we value hygiene, respect, and quality. The following terms apply to all purchases, and by placing an order, you automatically accept this policy.

1. NO RETURNS ON OPENED OR TRIED-ON PRODUCTS
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or refunds for products that:
• Have been tried on or worn
• Have been opened or removed from their original packaging
• Show any traces of perfume, sweat, skin contact, or makeup
This applies to:
• Abayas
• Hijabs
• Khimars

Why does this apply to abayas?
Just like khimars and hijabs, our abayas are considered hygiene items because they are worn close to the body and can quickly be affected by scent, makeup, or skin contact.
Out of respect for our sisters, we only sell completely unopened and untouched products — a promise we’ve stood by since day one.
According to the Swedish Distance Selling Act (Chapter 2, Section 11), items that are sealed for health or hygiene reasons are exempt from the right of withdrawal once the seal has been broken — this applies to our garments.

2. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL – ONLY FOR UNOPENED ITEMS
By Swedish law, you have 14 days to cancel your purchase after receiving your item — but only if:
• The product is unused
• The product is unopened and in its original packaging
• You contact us within 14 days
Once the packaging has been opened, the right of withdrawal no longer applies, even if the product hasn’t been used.

3. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN
1. Email us at hishmaemail@gmail.com within 14 days
2. Include your order number and clear photos of the unopened product
3. Wait for written approval before sending anything back
Returns without approval will not be processed.

4. REFUNDS
If your return is approved:
• Refunds are issued within 14 business days
• Refunded to the same payment method used at checkout
• Shipping fees are non-refundable
• Return shipping is paid by the customer

5. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect:
• Contact us within 48 hours with photo evidence
• We will replace the item or offer a full refund

6. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY RETURNS
We will deny any return or refund if:
• The packaging has been opened
• There are visible signs of use
• The return was not approved in advance
